For documenting existing processes the first step is to capture or discover what is going on in the current organization. Regardless of the scope of the project, this important step is vital to accurate communication of how things get done.

The most important subject matter experts are already in the building: your team. Our approach is to provide simple-to-use technology and templates to have your team do most of the documentation of this stage. Our accelerated approach uses Microsoft Excel-based capture products, so each team member will be responsible for documenting and validating his or her tasks in your work processes.

Our team

HCG will provide Business Process Management consultants to fill any gaps in your team. If there are none, we just provide training, templates and support to your team. All of our projects take this blended approach, based on your needs. Our consultants can manage the largest of programs by tapping into our huge base of affiliated consulting partners.

Methodolology

HCG uses a Continuous Process Improvement model based on the six steps listed below. This may be modified if you have already an instituationalized BPM model in use. Training and support materials are available for each stage of the model. (See the training section of this site).
